2018 Eagle Bay Cabernet Sauvignon


Winemaking

Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon was very carefully selected with only three rows hand picked the must was then fermented and matured in two barriques. This wine is an example of small batch no compromise quality were the objective is to craft the region's finest wines.

A very limited production of only 600 bottles all of which are individually labelled. 

Colour

Deep crimson red with vibrant ruby hues

Aroma

An abundance of blackcurrant and cassis on the nose plus underlying hints of classic Margaret River bay leaf. 

Palate

Great fruit depth and maturation in 50% new fine grained French oak provides beautiful fine and long tannins.  Cigar box and dark chocolate oak spice add complexity to this powerful cabernet sauvignon.
