Sourced from the cooler region of Frankland River, this 100% Shiraz is harvested in the early morning. A short cold maceration was applied to extract the primary fruit character and colour. The fermentation was long with minimal extraction techniques to ensure a soft and approachable palate. Oak maturation follows.
Deep ruby red with purple hues
A fine cooler climate Shiraz with aromas of ripe satsuma plums and some savoury complexity adding nutmeg spices and freshly ground pepper notes.
Aroma flavours of plum and spice continue onto the medium to full bodied palate and are supported by fine grained, plush tannins. The Oak adds another layer including sweet vanilla notes and a smoky finish
